A product of the burgeoning electronica scene in Western Scotland, LAN Formatique presents the listener with an intelligent, emotional blend of soft melodies and atmospheres with heavily processed rhythms and digital experimentation.

The sound that LAN Formatique offers on his forthcoming debut album, Goodnight Noises Everywhere, and in his live performance highlight a more mature, organic sound than previous material, incorporating acoustic drum sounds, expansive guitar treatments and a greater
focus on his trademark piano melodies.

In addition to taking influence from a variety of music and artists, LAN Formatique finds additional inspiration from literature, theoretical writing and the enveloping culture of post-industrial Scotland to create a sound that is wholly personal.
